Kathryn Flood, an associate with PilieroMazza PLLC, practices in the areas of government contracts, small business administration programs, business and corporate law, and litigation.  Ms. Flood counsels clients in a broad range of government contracting matters, including compliance with the Federal Acquisition Regulations, small and minority business procurement goals and size status, drafting and review of teaming agreements and subcontracts, preparing and pursuing requests for equitable adjustments and certified claims, establishing and maintaining effective compliance programs, cost allowability issues including DCAA Audit issues, and litigating bid protests to the U.S. Government Accountability Office and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.  Ms. Flood also has experience in Administrative Procedure Act actions as well as complex civil litigation in federal forums. 

Prior to joining PilieroMazza, Ms. Flood was an associate with Buchanan Ingersoll & Rooney P.C. in Washington, D.C. There, Ms. Flood participated and advised in all aspects of government contracts matters, representing clients in bid protest actions, requests for equitable adjustments, and claims and appeals before administrative boards, the U.S. Government Accountability Office, the Court of Federal Claims, and state and local government agencies.

Ms. Flood graduated from the University of Virginia, where she received a B.A. in English and Foreign Affairs in 2003.  She received her law degree from the University Of Virginia School Of Law in 2006, where she served as an Articles Editor for the Virginia Journal of International Law.  Ms. Flood is currently a member of the Virginia Bar, as well as the federal district court in Washington, D.C. and the U.S. Court of Federal Claims.
