Kevin J. Allis is counsel with PilieroMazza PLLC.  Mr. Allis primarily concentrates in management labor and employment law. He represents clients on a wide range of labor and employment related matters before administrative agencies, state courts, and federal courts. Such representation has included wage and hour administration, wrongful termination claims, employee non-competition agreements, and employment discrimination. He also advises on various aspects of government contracting with concentration on small and disadvantaged businesses.

 

Kevin Allis frequently conducts workshops and supervisory training across the country for employers on various labor and employment topics such as the Fair Labor Standards Act, Family and Medical Leave Act, and the National Labor Relations Act. He works closely with several Native American tribes, tribal enterprises, and Native American associations on labor and employment law issues impacting Indian Country. His work in this area has included active participation in a national workgroup sponsored by several of the largest Native American associations in the country.

 

Mr. Allis is a tribal member of the Forest County Potawatomi Community and serves on the board of directors for the Potawatomi Business Development Corporation. He received his Juris Doctorate from the University of Baltimore. He attended Louisiana State University and graduated with a Bachelor of Science from the University of Baltimore. Mr. Allis is admitted to practice law in the state of Maryland and the District of Columbia.
