When the Government announces the apparent successful offeror in a set-aside procurement, other offerors have five business days to protest the size of the apparent successful offeror. If a size protest is filed, the Small Business Administration will often give the apparent successful offeror only a few days to respond to the size protest. This can create a very hectic and stressful situation for any small business. However, these difficulties can be mitigated by proactively preparing for a size protest. Join Tony Franco and Michelle Litteken as they discuss:
  • The types of procurements that are subject to size protests;
  • The arguments that may be raised in a size protest;
  • The information an apparent successful offeror is required to produce in response to a size protest; and
  • Strategies to minimize the risk of a size protest.
