Camilla is a skilled advocate who works closely with PilieroMazza’s commercial business and government contract clients to develop litigation, dispute resolution, and appellate strategies in state and federal courts. She assists clients in litigation matters touching on a wide range of issues, including labor and employment and wrongful termination disputes, Miller Act claims, intellectual property protection and retention, business-to-business transactions, business torts, requests for temporary restraining orders and injunctive relief, and disputes related to corporate acquisitions. With the client’s business objectives in mind, Camilla collaborates with her colleagues—from a cross-section of practice groups and industry teams—to find innovative and flexible solutions to common and novel legal issues in order to advance the best interests of the Firm’s clients and protect their bottom line.

As an active member of the Construction Industry Team, Camilla develops effective strategies for resolving client concerns specific to the construction industry. For federal construction projects, she is well versed in matters involving the Miller Act and works with attorneys in PilieroMazza’s Government Contracts Group to address these and other construction industry legal issues. Camilla also represents government contractors in bid protests before the Government Accountability Office.

Prior to joining PilieroMazza, Camilla was a Briefing Attorney for the Honorable Chief Justice Jim Wright in the Eleventh District Court of Appeals of Texas (2017-2018). In that role, she gained valuable insight into the procedural and substantive considerations of courts. Camilla translated her clerkship experience into private practice as a litigation associate at a firm in Texas, where she served small and large business clients as trial and appellate counsel in business and real estate disputes.
