Originally from Oregon, Megan moved to the Washington, DC area to attend Georgetown University Law Center and built a reputation among the bench and bar as an ardent advocate and as a creative litigator. In 2018, the Maryland Daily Record named Megan to its VIP (“Very Important Professionals”) list based on her professional accomplishments, community service, and a commitment to inspiring change. Maryland legislators repeatedly seek her input on pending legislation as a prominent state litigator and due to Megan’s frequent testimony before the Maryland House and Senate Judiciary Committees.
