Bio
After more than a decade litigating cases at an international law firm and the U.S. Department of Justice, Scott joins PilieroMazza’s growing Litigation & Dispute Resolution Group. Clients benefit from his combined government and private practice experience across a wide range of disputes, including high-stakes litigation, government investigations, and pre-litigation negotiations. His practice covers an array of complex commercial and contractual matters, False Claims Act investigations and qui tam litigation, securities fraud, antitrust, consumer class actions, trade secret litigation, and technology-related disputes. Scott also advises companies on data privacy and cybersecurity issues.
Before joining PilieroMazza, Scott served as a trial attorney in DOJ’s Environment and Natural Resources Division, where he represented the United States in all phases of litigation. He is known for developing and executing effective case strategies from the outset of a dispute, positioning his clients for successful outcomes whether through negotiated resolutions or in court.
