Shelleah’s practice focuses on helping clients navigate complex legal disputes with a detail-oriented, strategic, and solutions-focused approach. Working closely with PilieroMazza partners, she helps clients refine their objectives, evaluate potential risks and outcomes, and develop practical strategies tailored to their needs. By clearly explaining legal issues and the implications of available courses of action, Shelleah empowers clients to make informed decisions that advance their goals.
Shelleah earned her law degree, magna cum laude, from Rutgers Law School, where she was elected to the Order of the Coif. During law school, she served as Articles Editor of the Rutgers University Law Review and represented her school as a member of the International Mock Trial Team. Shelleah was also active in the Student Bar Association as Diversity & Inclusion Representative, the Minority Student Program, and the Black Law Students Association. In addition, she served as a Teaching Assistant for Legal Analysis, Writing, and Research.
While in law school, Shelleah gained valuable practical experience through a judicial externship with the Honorable Karen M. Williams of the United States District Court for the District of New Jersey and as a Law Clerk in the legal department of Dotdash Meredith, a large digital and print media company. Prior to law school, Shelleah served as Program Manager and Director of Ambassadors for the Young Black Leadership Alliance from 2017 to 2019.
