Stephanie K. Wood has joined PilieroMazza as Counsel in the Firm’s Litigation & Dispute Resolution, False Claims Act, and Audits & Investigations groups in Washington, DC. Ms. Wood brings more than 15 years of broad-ranging litigation experience in all facets of the litigation process, from developing a tactical approach to dispute resolution, to advocating for clients’ interests on appeal. She keenly understands what is persuasive to fact-finders and is particularly adept at determining and developing effective litigation and trial strategies for clients.
Ms. Wood assists clients in the government contracting and commercial business arenas in contested matters involving business torts, complex commercial issues, and claims made under the False Claims Act (FCA). She also has substantial experience guiding clients through a variety of dispute resolution options, such as settlements, mediations, and arbitrations.
Prior to joining PilieroMazza, Ms. Wood was a senior litigator at a premier Am Law 100 law firm.
