Description:
The General Services Administration’s (GSA) Schedule contracts are key tools for many contractors doing business with the federal government. With procurement consolidation expected to lead to a surge in GSA Schedule contracting on the horizon, current and prospective GSA Schedule contractors need to understand the ins and outs of Schedule contracting to be best positioned to capitalize on new opportunities. This webinar, which is the first in a series PilieroMazza will host in the coming months on GSA Schedule contracting, focuses on two key aspects of being a Schedule contractor: (1) labor category (LCAT) mapping and (2) navigating GSA audits.
LCAT mapping is a critical component of using your GSA Schedule contract to pursue and win services contracts. If not done correctly, LCAT mapping can lead to rejection of your quote as well as substantial risk in a post-award protest that could result in the loss of a valuable opportunity. Once you begin to win work through your GSA Schedule contract, you may face a GSA audit. GSA audits deal with a variety of issues, including defective pricing, the price reduction clause, and TAA compliance. Having a sound approach to an audit is key to ensure it is carefully navigated.
Join PilieroMazza’s Jon Williams and Lauren Brier as they share their experiences helping clients navigate protest challenges involving LCAT mapping and GSA audits. They will break down the legal requirements and offer best practices to help you stay ahead of the curve for these two key topics in GSA Schedule contracting.
