PilieroMazza is pleased to announce that Jon Williams, a Partner in the firm’s Government Contracts Group, has been elected Chair of the Board of Directors of the Small and Emerging Contractors Advisory Forum (SECAF), a leading organization dedicated to advancing the success of small and emerging government contractors.
Jon Williams has been an active leader within SECAF for many years, serving as the organization’s General Counsel and supporting numerous initiatives that strengthen the government contracting community. In 2021, he was appointed to SECAF’s Board of Directors, further expanding his role in guiding the organization’s mission and strategic direction.
As Chair, Jon will help lead SECAF’s efforts to provide education, advocacy, and networking opportunities for small and emerging federal contractors while fostering collaboration among industry stakeholders, government agencies, and resource partners. He assumes this leadership role during SECAF’s milestone 25th anniversary year, a period focused on celebrating the organization’s legacy while continuing to support the growth and success of the government contracting community.
“SECAF plays a vital role in strengthening the small business government contracting community,” said Jon. “I am honored to serve as Chair and look forward to working with the Board, members, and industry partners to continue advancing opportunities for emerging contractors and ensuring SECAF remains a valuable resource for businesses seeking to grow, connect, and succeed.”
Throughout his career, Jon has advised government contractors on legal and business matters affecting their compliance, structure, and strategic growth. A frequent speaker and author, he is recognized as a trusted advisor to businesses navigating the federal contracting landscape.
This latest milestone builds on Jon’s longstanding service to SECAF and the GovCon community, including his appointment to the Board of Directors in 2021 and his recognition as SECAF’s Advocate of the Year in 2023.
PilieroMazza congratulates Jon Williams on this well-deserved achievement and looks forward to his continued leadership in support of the government contracting industry.
