Associate - Government Contracts Law (Washington, DC or Boulder, CO)
PilieroMazza is seeking an associate with four to eight years of experience to join its Government Contracts practice group. We represent contractors in protests, claims, and investigations, and counsel them on a range of regulatory issues. Our government contracts attorneys are thought leaders, helping to shape laws and regulations impacting companies that do business with the federal government. Applicants should be admitted to practice in or eligible for prompt admission into the District of Columbia. Maryland and/or Virginia admissions are encouraged. Experienced Attorney – False Claims Act / Litigation & Dispute Resolution
PilieroMazza is seeking an attorney with at least 6 years of in-depth civil and/or criminal False Claims Act prosecution or defense experience to take a lead role in support of its False Claims Act and Litigation & Dispute Resolution practice groups. The primary focus of the successful candidate’s practice will be to provide advice and counsel to, and participate in or lead the representation and defense of, government contractors in civil and criminal False Claims Act matters, including audits and investigations by the Department of Justice and/or Offices of Inspectors General, witness interviews, internal compliance audits and investigations, civil investigative demands, subpoenas, and Qui Tam and other FCA litigation.  Additional litigation work or other projects also may be assigned, as needed, that will touch on any of the firm’s other areas of practice, including employment, corporate, and government contracting law.  Prior experience as a civil or criminal attorney with the U.S. Department of Justice prosecuting False Claims Act matters is preferred.  Applicants should be admitted to practice in at least one state and eligible for prompt admission into the District of Columbia bar.  Send resume, writing sample (not to exceed 10 pages), and a copy of your law school transcript to recruiting@pilieromazza.com.
