Associate Attorney – Government Contracts (Washington, DC or Boulder, CO)
PilieroMazza PLLC, a business law firm serving government contractors and commercial businesses, is seeking an associate with two to three years of experience to join its Government Contracts practice group. The candidate should have government contracting experience in a private practice law firm, specifically with experience with Small Business Administration regulations including the 8(a), SDVOSB, WOSB, and HUBZone small business programs. Additionally, we represent contractors in bid protests, Contract Disputes Act claims, False Claims Act and other investigations related to federal procurement law and, as such, experience in those areas would be beneficial as well. Associate Attorney – Labor & Employment (Washington, DC)
PilieroMazza PLLC, a Washington, D.C.-based law firm specializing in government contracts, corporate law, employment law, and commercial litigation, seeks junior associate attorney with 2-3 years of experience in labor and employment law. Experience or education specific to labor matters a plus.
The successful candidate will have outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with sharp attention to detail, and will work well as part of a collaborative team. Required skills include excellent writing, research, and communication skills, as well as interpersonal and self-management skills. You must also be analytical, creative, persistent, and flexible.
Our labor and employment practice will expose you to a broad range of experiences. You will help to bridge the gap between employers and employees through sound advice and counsel, drafting employment agreements, and reviewing multi-jurisdictional employment issues. You will also support clients in matters which involve collective bargaining and claims under the National Labor Relations Act.
