Bio
Caitlin is a business and government contracts attorney whose practice focuses on advising prime contractors and subcontractors across a wide range of industries. She assists clients in reviewing and negotiating commercial and government contracts, providing regulatory and compliance guidance, and implementing compliance programs to help clients navigate the complex legal landscape governing their operations. Caitlin also conducts government contracts and grants M&A due diligence for both buy-side and sell-side transactions of all sizes.
Caitlin represents government contractors in pre- and post-award bid protests before agencies, the Government Accountability Office (GAO), and the Court of Federal Claims (COFC). In addition, Caitlin has counseled clients on small business issues and requirements, including counseling clients in size protests before the Small Business Administration (SBA) and related appeals before SBA’s Office of Hearings and Appeals.
Her work also includes advising clients throughout the administration of their contracts—preparing requests for equitable adjustments and certified claims, and litigating any contract disputes before federal courts and/or the applicable boards of contract appeals.
Furthermore, Caitlin represents construction contractors, manufacturers, suppliers, architects, and other businesses in complex commercial litigation. Drawing on a strong background in business litigation, she provides clients with effective, solutions-oriented legal advice tailored to their strategic goals.
Before joining PilieroMazza, Caitlin was an associate at an international law firm in Washington, D.C., a senior associate at a Midwest insurance defense and litigation law firm, and a business consultant with a Chicago-based firm.
