About Josie Farinelli
During her tenure at the Department of Defense (DOD), Josie was a key player in litigating federal procurement matters, representing the Air Force, Space Force, and other DOD-wide combatant commands. She handled nearly 100 contract disputes with over $60 Billion in controversy, including mediation and litigation for high-profile programs, such as multi-billion-dollar procurement protests and claims before the Government Accountability Office (GAO) and Armed Services Board of Contract Appeals (ASBCA). Josie also served as lead agency counsel in partnership with Department of Justice trial attorneys for protests and claims litigation before the Court of Appeals for the Federal Circuit (CAFC) and the Court of Federal Claims (COFC). Josie’s successful leadership in these cases earned her commendations from senior officials, including the Judge Advocate General of the Air Force and the Secretary of the Air Force. Read more here.
