Bio
Cole is an Associate in PilieroMazza’s Business & Transactions Group, where his practice focuses on mergers and acquisitions, corporate governance, equity incentive arrangements, and general corporate counseling. He advises business owners and companies at every stage of growth, with particular emphasis on small to mid-sized businesses and clients in the government contracting sector.
His experience includes representing buyers and sellers in asset and equity transactions, drafting and negotiating a broad range of commercial agreements, and guiding clients through complex corporate structuring matters. Cole frequently assists government contractors with regulatory issues unique to the federal marketplace, including due diligence, novations, foreign ownership and control considerations, and post-transaction integration.
In addition to his transactional work, Cole counsels boards and management teams on governance best practices, corporate formalities, and strategic planning. He is recognized for his practical, detail-oriented approach and his ability to translate legal requirements into clear, actionable guidance.
Beyond his legal practice, Cole enjoys exploring the DC restaurant scene, playing soccer, and going on long walks with his dog, Rumi.
